Another new year, eh? Though I know it's too cliche to say that the days went by in a blink of an eye, but it's kinda true. 2010 offered me so many high hopes and heartbreaks, but sometimes I was blinded by my judgment, I turned a 'high hope' into a 'heartbreak'. *sigh* Frankly, 2010 was really not my year because the number of 'heartbreaks' are higher that 'high hopes'. They all revolved around death and my jobless situation.
First, I've lost three dear friends between the month of April and June - Zarina Abdul Ghafir, Ihsan Shuib, and Aidil Othman. That gave me moments of dumbstruck.
And here we go about my employment situation. I started the new year with no job. I left the previous company in early December. I started working again in March. Went jobless again in June. Worked again in September. Jobless again in November, until now. Phew! But, I'd never regret all these. I had fun! I cherished every moment of it and gained everything I could from the experiences. I'm better now and nobody can break me. Haiyyyyaahhh! And one more thing, I applied for a teaching position with MARA. So far, I've been through 2 stages of interviews and waiting to be called for the final one. Fingers crossed!
Okay. Enough with the heavy. Though my 2010 was almost filled with tears, I had great times with my friends and family too! We had a couple of family trips - to Alor Setar, Port Dickson, Kuantan, I drove to Kluang (I've finally found a town that I could live in besides KL!), I drove everywhere! I had two vacations with my BFFs - to Tioman Island and Cameron Highlands. The trips were absolutely fun! Besides these big trips here and there, I spent good, no..GREAT times with people I love. Went out shopping and had wonderful dinner (Wong Solo!) at wonderful places (IKEA is the best place to hangout these days. And the meatball - who could say no to that?). Had a reunion potluck with college friends. Spent time with my parents at nurseries in Sungai Buloh (our house is 'greener' now). And thanks, daddy for the new bed frame (LEIRVIK)! I'm also in the process of 'remodeling' my bedroom. Daddy, bila nak beli cat ni? ;)
And the cherry on top - Adam Lambert Glam Nation tour!! Seriously, I still can't believe I went to that concert. It was absolutely fun! Looking forward to Michael Buble and Justin Bieber's concert next year. This year. I mean 2011. ;)
